Access to summit via stairs + lift

Can you climb up to through the stairs and then take a lift to the top of the Eiffel Tower? Yes, you can. One of the most popular tickets to tour the Tower is through the stairs entrance, which allows you to enter the Tower and go up approximately 700 steps to reach the 2nd floor, and from there it’s a short ride up to the top, since the stairs from the 2nd floor to the top are not available to the public.

Tickets for “Stairs + lift” are available only on-site, and they will allow you to go up through the stairs entrance (on either side of the Tower) and take a lift to the summit to enjoy the amazing view of Paris and explore the different attractions on the top of the Tower. This tour combination of cardio plus breathtaking views are designed for those that are in proper shape and health conditions to go up a lot of steps. However, if you’re traveling with small children or babies, are pregnant or have heart conditions, please consider avoiding the stairs for your own benefit. Since there isn’t a storage locker available for left luggage or strollers at the bottom.

The experience of climbing up the stairs from the esplanade up to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower takes about 25-35 minutes, depending on how much time you spend on each floor to enjoy the view and take as many pictures as you can.

This tour allows you to get a more detailed view while ascending step by step the Eiffel Tower, which not many people can say they climbed it on foot.

The stairs entrance is available from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM for the entire year save for December 27th, 28th, and 29th when the Eiffel Tower is open until 12:45 am.
